Carbon fiber restrengthening for a villa in Saar under construction. The villa had a number of structural defects that had occurred during construction, particularly on the ground floor. Therefore together with Sika a comprehensive restrengthening system was developed for the villa using carbon fiber, consisting of column wraps , slab strips , beam wraps and strips. This effectively increased the load bearing capacity of the ground floor significantly. This was the very first project of its kind implemented in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
